Gin, mead, wine, cheese, spirits, jam and more – join us for Stanthorpe in a day for this action packed tour!

Located around 2 and a half hours to the south west of Brisbane, the Granite Belt regions is THE apple-and-grape-winter-escape with all manner of culinary delights.

In contrast to our usual wine tour of Stanthorpe, this trip has a focus on the other delights Stanthorpe has to offer; and so is the perfect trip if wine isn’t your thing.

The first stop in the Apple & Grape region is the renowned Conrad Gin Distillery, whose gins have won world wide recognition and awards. This cosy stop involves one of the best & informative gin tastings you will ever encounter.

Lunch (included) is sure to be a highlight of the day – gourmet cheese platters at Jersey Girls Cheese Cafe to share: ‘4 cheeses of your choice, Hot crusty bread & crackers, Choice of 2 meats (ham/silverside or salami), 4 regional accompaniments, Olives/marinated, baby figs and seasonal fruits, dried fruits’

Now have you ever tried a glass of mead? And are you sure you know how it’s made? We were blown away at the experience at Mt Stirling Meadery and some of the products there will amaze you with the, let’s say eclectic tastes.

We also have stops at Jamworks (the local fruit in Stanhorpe is incredible) and Castle Glen who offer impromptu tastings for their wide range of spirits and every other drink you could imagine (apart from some of the meads from before).

Dinner is pizza at Summit Estate (winery) and their sunset bonfire session . Once the sun goes down, the night sky in the country is a sight to behold. This is the last stop before we head back to Brisbane.

This event is a terrific way to make some friends – we’ll make plenty of introductions, throughout and there’ll be lots of ‘activities’ (eg drinking wine) to bond over. Or you can come with your friends and enjoy the day.

There is a lot of driving for todays trip with the bus leaving Roma St at 8:00am in the morning and we should get you back to Roma st by 9:00pm; It’s a big day as there’s lots to see! We meet you at Roma St Bus stop 125, opposite the Police Station, near Makerston St.
